| Monk. Reckless. Punchgirl extreme. For a woman without a destiny in a group of incredibly chosen people, Beau always kind of knew that her life didn't have much direction, but she absolutely couldn't forsee getting kidnapped to another world to help with the quest of a god. This sort of thing was supposed to be in the hands of someone like Caduceus, or Jester- not her, the girl without a quest, a purpose. Even getting one handed to her seems dubious by now. Despite taking it all in stride and having very little to truly get back to, Beau is beginning to worry about what she's gotten herself into here and what will be waiting for her when she does get back to it all. For now, it seems like there aren't really consequences here if she plays her cards right- so there's no downside to sticking with the game, gathering information, and seeing how it shakes. As long as she keeps herself away from the epicenter, it should be fine. But y'know, Beau's not great at not getting involved. |

Despite herself Beau finds herself thinking of Yasha a lot in the last six or so months, especially since the rejection rooms and and her temporary disappearance. Beau isn't used to being missed or having anyone know she's even gone, so the fact that Yasha came looking for her more than once and expresses concern when she can't be found sends her into some kind of tizzy. She's never been good at confronting her emotions- or uh, feeling them for that matter- so this hasn't been expressed outside of her slapping her journal on her forehead a number of times. But now, with Yasha gone again, it might be time to think about saying something to someone...

Well, Lifeaftr has a way of forcing it out anyway. Despite letting herself slip at the start with the promises she made to his corpse, Beau has tried to keep up some of the advice he gave her before he left- make places better than you found them. Spread smiles. Try and help when you can. It's difficult and still not her way, but she's steadily learning. More than that, it gives her time to figure out her own plan with what to do with him.
She's not going back without him. This time, she pulls him out of the danger.

Even though Jester's time in Lifeaftr mostly prompted screaming and chaos, it was nice to have a friend by her side for a while. There will be traces left of her everywhere- in the touches she left to the house, in the various animals she tried to drag back, in a lot of the chaos she brought. And while Beau knows she'll see her again eventually, she's going to keep watching the skyline for a little more blue than the sky.
